Grounded in positive psychology research, this seminar will provide practical strategies that lead to greater personal fulfillment and more effective parenting.

Technology and Its Effect on Kids Behavior
Video Synopsis: It is challenging to raise technologically savvy children when you have no basis for comparison. Parents today didn’t grow up with the cell phones, computers, the Internet, DVRs, video games, etc. that their children interact with as part of their everyday lives. This presentation will explore the effects of chronic stimulation on attention–span and selfdiscipline. She will discuss parents’ lack of “face” time with their children as well as the issues of sexting, cyberbullying and tech-addiction that require “back-bone” parenting skills in setting limits and teaching “tech-etiquette”.
